Sophie A. Tomczyk, age 90, of Orchard Park, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at St. Francis Nursing Home of Williamsville, NY. Mrs. Tomczyk was born July 12, 1924 in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late Paul and the late Magdalene (Gogloski) Wacienga. Sophie was predeceased by her husband the late Bronislaus Tomczyk.
Mother of Bronislaus "Ben" (Maria), Ernest, Susan, Rose (Sam) Cardullo, and Paul (Terry) Tomczyk; also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; predeceased by two grandsons Jeffrey White and Andrew Tomczyk.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. Bernadette Church, 5930 South Abbott, Orchard Park, NY. Please assemble at church.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Hamburg on Friday.
Calling hours will be Thursday, January 29 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.
