Obituary of Helen C. Arndt

Helen C. Arndt, age 99, of Greenlawn, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Elderwood at Lancaster of Lancaster, NY. Mrs. Arndt was born November 29, 1916 in Manhattan, NY. She is the daughter of the late Ludwig and the late Adela (Gradkowski) Rostkowska. Formerly married to John J. Arndt; mother of Carole (late Charles) Gerardi and John J. (Anna) Arndt; loving grandmother of Vincent Gerardi, Carolyn (Joseph) Coppola, John J., III (Christine) and Jarrod Arndt; great grandmother of Ryan, Carly and Grace Coppola; sister of the late Bron (late Sam) Scarso; aunt of Sal, Joseph and Bronwyn. Helen volunteered as an aide for New York Foundling Hospital. And was a volunteer grandmother at various schools in Greenlawn, NY and retired from New York Life. No prior visitation. A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Potter's Park, located behind F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Orchard Park, NY.
