PRESTEL - Rose J. (nee Barone)
Formerly of Williamsville, NY, age 100, March 18, 2017, beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Prestel, MD; loving mother of Kathleen M. (James) Dammeyer, Patricia M. (John) Henry, Mary M. (late Michael, MD) Sansone and Thomas F. (Patty) Prestel; grandmother of Tom, Annemarie (Shawn Newport) and Kevin (Katie) Dammeyer, Tim Henry and Kristen (Jake) Pszonowsky, Margaret O'Brien, Mary Kathryn Sansone, Claire (Chris Babbitt) Prestel and Elizabeth (Daniel Silk) Prestel; also survived by eight great-grandchildren; sister of Samuel (late Peg) Barone, DDS and the late Marian Maurer and Dorothy Sorgi; also many nieces and nephews. Rose served as a Bookkeeper for her husband's medical practice. She was an avid reader, enjoyed travel, bridge and maintained an active lifestyle into her nineties.
