Obituary of M. Donald Pritchard

Pritchard – M. Donald M. Donald Pritchard, age 86, of Orchard Park NY, passed away at Gates Vascular Institute on Monday April 3rd, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Sue (Conover), his children, Mark (Lori) Pritchard, Diane (Patrick) Langone, Jennifer Hoffman, Heidi (Christopher) Daly, Matthew (Cheri) Pritchard and 6 grandsons. He was a lifelong Buffalo resident, graduate of UB School of Pharmacy, a U.S. Army Veteran, and owner of Mearl D. Pritchard Pharmacy for over 40 years, continuing the business his father opened in 1927. Pritchard Hall at UB is named in honor of his father. Don was involved in local, state, and national pharmacy organizations. He served 12 years on the Salvation Army Advisory Board, 25 years in Buffalo Rotary, and was OPCSD School Board President from 1999 – 2002. A Memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday April 9th at St. John's Lutheran Church, 4536 S. Buffalo St,, Orchard Park, NY. No prior visitation.
