Katherine R. Woodard, age 97, of Orchard Park, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY. Mrs. Woodard was born March 31, 1920 in Rochester, NY. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Margaret (Hoag) Roe. Beloved wife of the late William H. Woodard, Jr. loving mother of William J. (Kathryn) nee Menz Woodard of Fairport, NY and Margaret (late Robert) Muffley of Orchard Park, NY; cherished grandmother of Bryan (Cindy Padera) Woodard of Washington, D.C. and Angelica Woodard of Fairport, NY; caring sister of the late Irene Roe, Ruth Davis and John Roe; also survived by nieces Sue Ann (Ed) Metzner and Annemarie (Mark) Ranieri, great nieces and many friends. Kay will be remembered by her infectious laugh, Irish humor and her amazing mathematic ability. She served as vice president of Security Trust Co. of Rochester for many years and in retirement started her own tax business. Kay and her husband Bill enjoyed traveling especially to Sanibel and the Virgin Islands. She treasured her time with family, especially her grandchildren, her good times on Kueka Lake with Bill and the rest of her family. A lifelong Rochester resident, she enjoyed her final years living with her daughter, Peg in Orchard Park, NY. She will be missed. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00am at White Haven All Seasons Chapel 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY 14534 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to C.D.S.
