I have great memories of working with Ray as a helpful dependable colleague when I served as executive assistant to president D Bruce Johnstone in the eighties. Great smile, great competence in his position and great sense of humor. Several years went by before I knew of his musical life, but it is as a musician that I saw him for the last time, playing along with two other musicians for an art show opening in the Upton Hall lobby!
