Alan was such a kind person. His smile was always so inviting - showing anyone more than a hello rather "Im here for you lets talk". I will miss our discussions about computers and technology. Alan was always curious about life and continually inspired me to develop as a person. My condolences to Ann and the family. May God be with you all during this time.

In the late '90's Al, Marty Bradley and I went to Gorge on Recovery in Gulph Ontario. There is a Creek in the back of the park with a little Rapids shout. After we had our fill of that the 3 of us took an intertube and floated down the Creek. If 1 person on the intertube shifted their weight the tube would flip making us scramble back into the tube. About 100yards before you have to walk the tube across the land to get back to deep water the tube flipped and Marty said to Al you were standing on my head. Our friend Jason Troy picked us up at the front of the park and drove us back to the campsite.

What a pleasure it was to know Alan. I always knew where to find him on Thursday nights. I enjoyed the conversations we used to have then. He will be missed by the many people who had the pleasure to have known him.

It was a great pleasure to know and work with Alan all the years he was here at Enidine. We had some great laughs and conversations and he certainly helped make the day to day things go much more smoothly. I'm saddened to hear of his passing.
He's gone way too soon. All my condolences to his family and friends.

I am saddened to hear the news of Alan's passing. I know that he is resting easy now. I want to say thanks to Al for a second chance at my life. Back in 1992, I knew nothing about recovery and called the hotline. Al called back. He came to pick me up and brought me to the "Belle Star" group. It was the beginning of a long friendship. Al showed me how to be helpful to others. I in turn have helped others and thay have done so as well. The ripples of Al's service continue to make waves throughout the recovery program in Western New York and beyond. I am grateful to have known him. Thanks Buddy! ~TK~
