Bill was my boss in the mid 80's, as the Director of Engineering. He still had good engineering ideas, but with his superior management skills, was able to get the worlds first Electronically Controlled Gas Mixer for Dentistry that I designed, into production. He was the driving force. He seemed bigger than life, and when he spoke people listened ! He effortlessly cut through all the FDA red tape, and subsequent versions of the device are still in production and use today. Thanks to Bill, a lot of people have painless dentistry.
