I remember the day I met Donna over 35 years ago. I saw her, George and the girls walking down Underhill Rd. The girls were in a wagon. I pulled up in my car and said, " Are you the Mergenhagens? I've heard great things about you! " We had just moved into the neighborhood. Fast forward, many, many great times together in play group, at wineries, swimming in her pool and having cocktails all along the way. I'll always remember and miss my sweet, sweet friend. Eternal rest......

Dear George, Melissa, Beth and families,
We are so sorry for your loss. Donna will be missed so much by all who loved her. We remember her love and kindness and will cherish the memories always. The photos are of Melissa’s wedding 2011 and of Alison’s wedding 2014. We will treasure these and remember what a dear friend she was to us all. We send all our love and prayers. We know that Donna is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus.

Donna was always there for everyone. She had so many friends that would do anything for her. We all know she has a special place in Heaven.
Becka fondly remembers spending so many fun times with the girls. You made her dream come true, when you found our dog, Holly, for us. We were blessed to have "sister dogs" .

A: I will never forget as a new mom meeting Donna and how she helped welcome me to the neighborhood and introducing me to the best of East Aurora (Carolcade, Boys and Girls Club, etc). Such a true friend.
