I worked with Vince years ago. For some reason, he popped into my head...I last saw him about 15 years ago. So sad to see that he has passed years ago. Vince was kind and generous. He loved his family and he loved cooking and telling stories.
Vince once told me how to make an egg with a little olive oil, butter, salt, pepper and fresh basil from the garden. He told me this recipe with such care and passion that I never forgot it. I still make eggs for my family this way. I think of Vince every time I walk out into my garden in the morning and cut a few basil leaves for my eggs.
Rest easy old friend. You are missed but you left us the treasure of your memory to keep us company.

Vincent's name just came to mind this morning. I don't know why; just out of the blue. We were classmates at Bishop Timon High School in south Buffalo, 1960-63. I'm sorry to hear he passed away. I had hoped to contact him, since we were good friends.

It was a priviledge to know Vince. We loved listening to his wonderful stories. He will be missed.

When I would arrive at my fathers home, I could usually find him in the kitchen. He was having the time of his life cooking. As I would watch his quick movements in the kitchen I recall his big smile. I will never forget the times we shared eating his amazing food and sharing laughs. I love you dad.
