John was the best of men and a great inspiration to us. It was a joy and privilege to have known him. His deep faith, profound intellect and goodness enriched this world.
So distinguished and accomplished, yet he had such sweetness in him and gave the gift of his friendship so freely. How God must have loved him and welcomed him into the Kingdom.
