We will miss George at our Friday night fish frys; regularly attended by a close circle of friends. His insight on world events, wit, passion for sports were the dynamic side of a man who more liked the quiet time in his garden. I will remember his labor of love in the hours he spent developing the unique hosta for his granddaughters. My own garden contains plants that he selected for me and will be an enduring memory of our times together. Bob and I will miss his friendship and presence in our lives.
