I have very fond memories of my Uncle Denny, my father's younger brother. He was kind, generous, smart, loving, caring and gave us kids many opportunities to grow up with each other by bringing my cousins to visit us in Watertown or letting us stay at his house in Orchard Park. He was always present with his family at our family functions. He was admirable and meek, he usually wore a warm smile. I used to think he resembled Don Knotts and my father's older brother, Undlce Trevor, resembled Andy Griffith, only in looks, not by their demeanor. It was always a pleasure to be in Uncle Denny's presence. He made me feel comfortable around him growing up. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched with his beautiful soul.
