Herman J. Bowman, age 88, of Orchard Park, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at Autumnview Healthcare Facility of Hamburg, NY. Mr. Bowman was born January 9, 1926 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. He is the son of the late Herman and the late Della (Fisher) Bowman. He married Doris Gutekunst.
Beloved husband of Doris J. (Gutekunst) and the late Carolyn (Lee); father of Lynn (William) Mahone, Wayne (Kathy), Scott (Clara), Jim (Karen) Bowman, Jennifer (Steve) Perry; also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother of Gertrude (Kurt) Kenny, Evelyn (late John) Tucker, Orrin (Mary Alice), Clifton (Margaret) and the late Harold (Priscilla) Bowman.
The family will receive friends Saturday March 22nd from 9:30am- 11:00am at the Wesleyan Church of Orchard Park. Memorial Services will be held immediately following honoring Dr. Herman Bowman's life.
Memorials may be made to the Wesleyan Church of Orchard Park or to the Pearce Memorial Church 4322 Buffalo Road, North Chili, NY.
