My condolences to Aunt Jean's family. We visited several times during my childhood. I remember our visits to the Lanich home in Orchard Park fondly. I also recall all the aunts, except for my grandmother, at my cousin's bridal shower, and they were very sweet together.

To all of Jean's family,
Please accept our sincere condolences. Jean was a gracious lady who always made us feel special when visiting her. She had exceptional talents with her cooking, baking and flower gardens that made everyone appreciate being around her. We will have her in our prayers!

Dear Cousins and Aunt Betty, and Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren of Aunt Jean:
My childhood was much more fun with Aunt Jean and Uncle Lew and you wonderful cousins in it. Aunt Jean and Aunt Helen each gave me a bridal shower, and they were such terrific hostesses and cooks! I loved Aunt Jean's forthright way of saying what was on her mind. She was a wonderful sister to my mother especially, and our families were very close. Weeks in Kippewa on the Vaillaincourt's island were some of the best summers I remember. Of course, Uncle Lew and his big, hearty laugh was a wonderful partner to feisty Aunt Jean.
I will miss Aunt Jean, but know she has a beautiful spirit that lives on in all of us.
Love,
Sharon
