Just today I was perusing a volume entitled "Best-Loved Art from American Museums and noticed a congratulatory note on the inside cover to my daughter Tayler Coder who was an elementary student in Miss Langworthy's 1985-86 class in Marilla New York. She received the book for learning all 37 poems during that school year in Suzanne's class. To her family, I wish to say that Suzanne helped my children grow in knowledge and love for the arts. In later life, when we ran across each other in the community, we exchanged hugs and admiration for one another. I miss you Suzanne, and I will always carry fond memories of your love for your students and your abilities to challenge them to become the best they could be. Rest in peace.
Love, Agatha M. Coder

It was many years ago that Miss Langworthy was my second grade teacher in Kathmandu
Nepal. Her enthusiasm was contagious. She took special interest in my parents' work and the local culture. For over 30 years Miss Langworthy supported Christian development work in Nepal and Tanzania. We thank the Lord for her example among us.

I remember Miss Langworthy fondly and often. My brother and I as well as several other friends were taught by her in second grade at Marilla primary. She was inspiring and made a huge impact on our lives that we remember still today. I feel honored to have received post cards over the years from her many travels abroad. Her regimented but logical approach to life instilled in me as a second grader has stayed with me and guided me. We will always remember you.

So sorry to hear of Suzanne's passing. We were classmates at Orchard Park School. When I think of Sue, I picture a very vivacious and fun loving person. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
