Rosemary Janis, age 81, of Orchard Park, died Friday, May 27, 2016 in Hamburg. Mrs. Janis was born September 16, 1934 in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late James and the late Dorothy (Davis) Ricci. Beloved wife of the late Russell D. Janis; loving mother of Geralyn Pfaffenbach; Russell Janis, Darlene (Richard Dorsett) Bonetto, Donna (Dave) Duffy, and Christine (Angelo) Broadbent; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister of Julie (Phil) McCabe, Richard Ricci; also survived by nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 31 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 12:30 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at St. Bernadette Church, 5930 South Abbott, Orchard Park, NY. A prayer service will be held 11:45 am on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna.
