I was saddened when I heard of Mike's passing at our high school reunion this year. It has been a long time since I have seen Mike. We were very much two ships going different directions when we befriended each other in 8th grade, playing table top football in shop class and suffering through CCD together. I was so jealous of his leather coat! As often happens, once we got to high school we went separate ways, and I never saw him again, but I never forgot our times together. I still think of him when I see his childhood home. Rest in peace Mike.
