Edward W. Spiesz, age 83, formerly of West Falls, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Jewish Home of Rochester. Mr. Spiesz was born July 23, 1934 in Buffalo, NY. He is the son of the late Edward L. and the late Frances (Worthington) Spiesz. Beloved husband of the late Mary C. Spiesz (nee Bonner); father of Brigid M. Spiesz, Edward W. (Linda) Spiesz, Maryfrances I. Spiesz, Sean P.. (Geralyn) Spiesz, Sheila M. (Nick) Cocilova, Jaime D. Spiesz, Julie M. Grace, Peggy (Darren) Brooks, Katie E.M. (Steve) Rudnicki and Hilary M. (Damon) Aughtry; grandfather of Lindsay (Jon), Eddie, Caitlin, Noah, Ryan, Lucas, Ethan, Corinna, Quentin, Eliana, Marykate, Liam, Hazel, Malena, Blake, Everly and Kaine; great-grandfather of Benjamin. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at St. George's Catholic Church, 74 Old Glenwood Road, West Falls, NY. Calling hours will be Monday, May 7 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm - 7:00pm - 9:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY.
