John K. "Jack" Wakeman, age 92, of Orchard Park, died Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY. Mr. Wakeman was born May 18, 1927 in Oswego, NY. He is the son of the late George and the late Ella (King) Wakeman. Beloved husband of Annette (nee Goodemote) and the late June (nee Gesel) Wakeman; father of John (Judy) Wakeman, Jr., Gretchen (Laurent) Belsie, and Gregory (Mary) Miller; also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandsons; brother of Joseph Wakeman and the late Thomas Wakeman; also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Nativity Of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Avenue, Orchard Park, NY with officiating. Burial will be in Nativity of Our Lord Cemetery, Orchard Park. Calling hours will be Monday, November 11 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM & 7:00pm - 9:00pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959 .
