I’m so sorry to hear about Mrs Diggins’ passing. She always had a cheerful greeting and some lively conversation whenever I saw her at Fox Run. I so enjoyed getting to know her and extend my condolences to the entire family. With fond memories, Wende Lyman

I worked with Sally and her late husband Jim at OPHS for many years. Always friendly and with a smile on her face, I so enjoyed working with Sally. She loved kids and it showed! My condolences to the family.

I taught with Sally at Orchard Park High School. She was a treasure of a human being with the sweetest soul. I am stunned to find out she was 92, only 8 years younger than my father would be. I had always assumed she was just a “little bit” older than
myself. The reason why I even mention this is because I often worried that she might “die young” because, according to Sally, she lived (I’d say “thrived”) on fewer than five hours of sleep per night. (So, as of now, not to worry?). She was an amazing lady in many ways. And especially inherently kind. (She saw to it I could borrow Jim’s scuba diving equipment for Certification purposes). It was impossible not to like Sally! RIP dear lady!

WOW! We go back a long way!! My mom and Sally had a system for substitute teaching. The first one called went in, the other took the kids. Jim, Harry Bailey and Dad built our houses as I recall. We could get to all three without going on the road. We could go down to the creek by Diggins’ - as long as Sally was home. She was a great lady. I remember her always easy going, with a smile just like this picture. Our love and sympathy to all. Pam McGahey Van Doren

I knew Sally from my time at Orchard Park Presbyterian. Although it's been about 16 years since I moved away and since I have seen Sally, I remember her very fondly. She was always smiling, helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed her company. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Mary Leslie
