I remember Gerry as a part of "The A Team" - a special group of IBM Administrative Professionals that not only did their job, but often went "the extra mile" to do the right thing for the customer ... and save the butt of the sales person - like me, that had screwed up : ) Dick Anderson & Greg Kaitanowski were the Administration Managers, but they were smart enough to know that this group didn't need leadership - This group knew what to do & they did it , TRUE PROFESSIONALS ! Gerry, Carmella, Paul Grandits, Dean Rupert, Larry Dingee, Laurie Mann, Wally Kolek. They were committed, talented, special people like Gerry - that makes IBM the special company, that it is.
Another memory is Gerry being a part of the FIRST of the Annual IBM Super Bowl Pools in 1978 ... which continues to this day, 43 years later. Unfortunately, he didn't win the $100 prize in that first pool, but we all had a good time.
I am sure you feel fortunate & proud to have had Gerry as a part of your family - that is the way we felt, to have him as a part of our "The IBM Family".
