Betty, a very special sister to all 11 of her siblings; her sisters; Susan, Nancy and Carol, and her brothers; Allie, Brian, Ivan, Simon, Doug, Ronald, Eric and Craig. A caring, generous aunt to her 30+ nieces and nephews and their children. A well-qualified nurse, like her mother, that preferred working in Pediatrics. Too many memories to list but two of her unique characteristics include her love of canning and making preserves that many of us enjoyed immensely, and her special "goodie" bags to her nieces and nephews every convention. Her steady, quiet, faithfulness was an example to us all even when COVID restrictions shut her in.
My dear sister, I will miss you but I have many special memories.
Mike, Sue, Audrey, Effie, Jared, Tyler and Marissa, thinking of all of you with love and care and wishing you precious, comforting memories as you honor and remember your mother and grandmother's life.
Love, Nancy, (Aunt Nancy).

Aunt Betty lived for others in the days of her strength. That is appreciated and not forgotten.
Love to you all, Sara Lyn

I remember Betty as a cheery, steady and good woman. Years ago, John and I were "diabetic buddies" at Altamont conventions. We would store our vials of insulin in an old fridge in Lila's mudroom and meet there to take our medicine before meals. Another nice memory of Betty herself is an act of kindness on a hot convention day... Jim and I were sitting at our meeting bench when she and John walked by on the way to their seats. She dropped a bottle of cold water in my lap with a smile and walked on. She didn't remind me in words the importance of keeping hydrated, but made it possible by her kind deed. We never forget kindness, even if it's a drink of cold water.
With love to her family, from Jim and Cheryl Hutchinson

Dear immediate and extended family of Betty,
I am thinking of each one of you today. Betty was strong in faith and love. I remember visiting her several times when she lived in the Albany area. Each time she was busy canning fruit and making jam to share with family and friends. I enjoyed this fruit and even more I valued the fruit of her spirit and encouragement in faith and love. Betty was loved by many and will be missed.
Love and sympathy to each, Marilyn
