Dear Raymond, Children, and Family,
It was an honor to be present at Theresa's funeral service at Holy Trinity. It was a beautiful service for a woman who lived a wonderful life, though too short.
I am saddened that I lost touch with her but I am glad to remember her, as we went to school together for 12 years and lived in the same neighborhood and attended the same church. I have photos of her throughout our school years and growing-up years. We shared a special bond in that our parents came over as WW II displaced persons in 1951.
I was a part of her wedding party and knew that she and Raymond would be one of the lucky couples whose marriage would last for all time. It wasn't just luck, because I knew that she would put her heart and soul into making her marriage and family the most important part of her life.
Today, I saw that she did just that. Who wouldn't be proud of Caroline and Justin? Who wouldn't love the first beloved granddaughter Lillian? Who would doubt that her nursing career didn't contribute to the goodness in the world?
She lived a meaningful life and left the world a better place by having been here and touching all of us!
A life well lived! May she rest in peace!
Josephine
