Theresa Pomietlarz, age 65, of Orchard Park, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at home in Orchard Park. Mrs. Pomietlarz was born December 17, 1952 in Brant, NY. She is the daughter of the late Josef and the late Adele (Trubicz) Szarzanowicz. She married Raymond L Pomietlarz. Beloved wife of Raymond; mother of Justin (Kristen) Pomietlarz and Caroline (Nobuyuki) Pomietliarz-Yamasaki; grandmother of Lillian Adele; sister of Frank (Marysia), the late Stanley (late Josephine), and the late Joseph (late Vivian); also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Psychiatric RN, Theresa was recognized as a devoted and compassionate nurse for the patients of BryLin and Buffalo General Hospital until her retirement. She was a graduate of Villa Maria High School 1970 and received her B.S. in Nursing from Niagara University 1974. The funeral will be held 10:00am on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1080 Main St, Buffalo, NY. Calling hours will be Friday, September 21 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. In lieu of flowers: Donations may be made to: Hospice Buffalo Foundation Inc. 225 Como Park Blvd. Buffalo, NY 14225
