We were shocked to learn of Paul's death. He was our financial advisor when he was with TIAA. He gave us sound and thoughtful advice and became our friend. We enjoyed his company when he came through Missoula, Montana, our home, tipping a glass or two of wine, checking out dining in Missoula and going hiking. We shared interests in the outdoors and Paul's enthusiasm for his Harvard Mountain resonated with us. We last saw Paul when he was driving through Missoula on his way to moving to Columbus. We enjoyed a seasonal Huckleberry pizza and had made plans to reconnect when he next headed to Harvard Mountain. A wonderfully thoughtful and gracious man whom we shall miss.

Words I think of when I think of Paul: Family, friend, caring, belonging, honor, smart dresser, impeccable, classical music, violin, fine tastes, lemon meringue pie, red wine and more wine, biking, soccer, smiles and good times, jokes and laughter, quiet, mysterious, worries, head injury, rural land, isolation, beauty, Seattle and Queen Anne, same old apartment, Republican...but not quite, always there willing to be of help,
And now so missed.
He leaves us in mystery...the way he was in life. So there, and yet gone. Miss you Paul.
